I’m Kirstin Louise Stewart and a fourth year textiles student at Duncan of Jordanstone Art College. For my Degree Year I have chosen to specialise in Knitted Menswear, bringing together traditional techniques with modern pattern and colour.
I’ve always enjoyed art, but never considered it as a further education option until the end of my fourth year, when picking my subject choices for fifth year. My other passion is English, enjoying writing in my free time and if I wasn’t doing Textiles, I would no doubt be doing an English degree.
I love reading and have always had a keen interest in it since I was young. A particular book series that I’ve loved since the age of nine is Harry Potter; and my enjoyment of the series has just grew over the years. I also enjoy listening to music and drawing.
